Because both BMX Street alternate spots are now empty, two new alternate spots have been chosen. DK’s Brian Kachinsky and Premium’s Josh Harrington (formerly on the injured reserve list earlier this year) will now be attending X Games Los Angeles as the alternate picks for BMX Street.
In related news, Fly Bikes pro Sergio Layos reportedly broke his leg last week during the Etnies Club Med European Tour. Previously invited to compete in BMX Park at X Games Los Angeles, Layos will also miss the contest. In his place, U.K. Hoffman Bikes rider Ben Hennon has been given an invite for BMX Park.
X Games Los Angeles begins on June 28 and features BMX Vert, Park, Street and Big Air disciplines. A full list of BMX invites is available here.
